Valentino - Haute Couture collection Spring/Summer 2017 in Paris

Designer : Pierpaolo PiccioliLocation : Salomon de Rothschild HotelInspiration : First haute couture show for Pierpaolo Piccioli alone in command of Valentino’s artistic direction since the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior. Pierpaolo Piccioli gave his models names of God’s and goddesses from Greek mythology. Without artifices, he reveals the raw beauty of the woman in purified column dress with delicate sunburst-pleats that emphasize the sculptural allure.Collection : With flat sandals, these heroines are presented in long and pleated dresses. They seem to glide around the room, elevated. The silver embroidery is veiled with chiffon. Ecru, aqua green, powdered pink dominate this collection's palette of great purity. To note : the original music of Alexandre Desplat finished off by bringing a spectacular and dreamlike dimension to the show.Music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
