Artistic director of dior homme : kim jonesplace : new era, new place, the house of dior invites us this time into the enclosure of the republican guard in paris for the very first collection of the british kim jones (ex-vuitton) for dior homme. a circular podium and a monumental sculpture covered of roses, designed by the artist kaws, symbolising mister dior with his dog bobby. collection : a page turns, a new look for dior is unveiled with an air of freshness and optimism. a softer, more casual silhouette, combining the tradition of couture with sportswear. lightness and transparency to open the show with soft colours and fluid materials. floral patterns are found in print, embroidery, vinyl coats, blouses and jackets.a new cut for the shirts with a neckline, allowing the neck to be discovered.fluorescent colours take place throughout the collection for suits with clean lines. to note : the return of the “toile de jouy” and the patches that decorate the silhouettes. focus : on the numerous accessories and the collaboration with yoon, the co-founder of the japanese label ambush which has altered the initials cd, flowers and insects into jewelley. + a collection highly applauded by a crowd of personalities and designers, who came to attend this event, with rita ora, lenny kravitz, naomi campbell, kate moss, virgil abloh, kris van assche, robert pattinson, victoria beckham, haider ackermann, karl lagerfeld, and the arnault family in full forcewith the interviews of kim jones, natalia vodianova, rita ora, bernard arnault, pietro beccari. music from the show (for use only context of this report, under cover of the right to information)
