Location: along the seine, at solférino port.a floating 60 meter long podium was installed on the seine for the second edition of the l’oréal show, open to the public.a show giving pride to beauty and diversity with the desire to make fashion trends accessible to a greater number of people.12 designers partnered with the brand including elie saab, poiret, sonia rykiel, balmain, jacquemus and isabel marant (who has just launched her own make up line with l’oréal).a mix of big names and emerging talents with the participation of the jewelry brand chopard.an international casting with models including eva longoria, doutzen kroes, andie mc dowell, elle fanning, liya kebede and nikolaj coster waldau among others.interview with doutzen kroes :it’s a very iconic location and this is the second time l’oréal does it, and what it means to me is that it’s a different approach to how we share our secrets with other women. so it’s a very different experience when i’m walking down the runway where editors are sitting and taking serious notes, and here everyone is cheering and happy and happy to be a part of this fashion show that is happening on the seine.interview with pierre emmanuel angeloglou : we have always believed in the power of diversity and the beauty of diversity of all origins, of all skin types. men and “plus size” models will also walk on the stage. so really, the idea is to show that beauty is plural and that l'oréal supports this diversity in a very inclusive way. interview with aja naomi king: it will be my first time modelling, just like i’m still even saying that is like wow! i am today, i’m a model and especially to be on the seine like this is going to be the most iconic experience of my life. interview with andie mac dowell:my first runway was in paris when i was 20 so here i am 40 years later doing runways. you know it also shows that beauty is an experience that you can have for a lifetime.music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
